Since 2013, Fervor has travelled in every direction from its base in Margaret River on Wadandi Country. With the help of a dedicated and like-minded team, we have cooked in the Great Southern, Goldfields, South West, Pilbara, Kimberley, Wheatbelt, Gascoyne, in almost all regions of WA and into the Northern Territory and many locations throughout Australia. When we are on the road, we forage with traditional custodians to harvest ingredients found on that country, and learn the meaningful stories about them. We know that food is a way of changing our understanding and relationships, that stories matter as much as ingredients, that we want to connect with people and what their food means to them. Maintaining attention to local and seasonal produce has meant we are able to stay connected to seasons and to celebrate the bounty on offer. Kaya. From our home on the Wadandi beaches to the Yawuru wetlands to the Ballardong plains to the Gija gorges, we love this Country. We pay our respects to Nature, to Ancestors and to Elders, from the time when the world was soft until tomorrow when the sun rises again. We are grateful to the place and the people who are the traditional custodians, and acknowledge that our work is a celebration of the care for Country that matters to us all.
